With luxury bedrooms offering supreme comfort, this fine old house dating back 400 years has a new lease of life. Whilst all bedrooms vary in size and are individually designed, the common thread throughout is comfort, great beds, crisp white linen, Molton Brown toiletries and those little touches which make a big difference.

You'll experience reception rooms full of antiques, portraits and interesting memorabilia from the Armstrong-Jones family. The Drawing Room has a roaring log fire in the winter and you can enjoy a drink on the terrace in the summer. Spring is beautiful with a carpet of bluebells on The Mount and Autumn brings a multitude of colours from the trees in the grounds.

Our dining room basks in the morning sun during breakfast and is romantic by candle-light for dinner which is served Tuesday to Saturday by arrangement. Larger parties or private dining groups can experience eating in our Gun Room with a huge inglenook fireplace in the oldest part of the building. Well worth exploring, the room is adorned with memorabilia.

Outside, you'll find spectacular views in all directions - open countryside, the Snowdonia mountain range, Menai Straits and the Irish sea. Standing Stone Cottage is set in the picturesque farmyard on Llwyncrwn Farm, a 30 acre small holding in the beautiful Carmarthenshire hills. The barn and farmhouse date from 1830 and are surrounded by 30 acres of farmland. A small orchard next to the cottage contains an ancient standing stone.

The barn has been refurbished to offer stylish, spacious and comfortable accommodation - ideal for those in search of a peaceful and rural holiday. Within easy reach are the excellent beaches of the Cardigan coastline, Brechfa Forest (ideal for walking and cycling) and the Teifi and Tyweli Rivers (fishing available).Sleeps 4 (1 double, 1 twin), Log burning stove (logs included), Short breaks available.
